Sisters Give Birth Two Hours Apart In Same Rochester, NH Hospital

ROCHESTER, NH (CBS) - Two sisters, two babies, and just two hours apart; Trisha and Stacey Knox both gave birth to baby boys on Tuesday.

"People have been telling us for the past two months that we were going to go on the same day and we're like 'no,'" said Stacey Knox.

Trisha was already at Frisbie Memorial in Rochester when her contractions started.

Stacey, not even due until April 12th, was there to keep her company -- when her contractions came on.

"I started having contractions...and I decided not to tell anybody," said Stacey.

Stacey kept it a secret because she wanted to be there for her younger sister, who is just 19, to help her through the birth.

But eventually both women would deliver babies that morning.

Trisha was first, giving birth first to Joseph; and some two hours later Stacey delivered her son Nicholas.

"They'll probably have the same bond that me and her share," Trisha said of the new cousins.
