BOSTON (CBS) – The Boston Bruins have signed forward Anthony Camara to an entry-level contract, general manager Peter Chiarelli announced on Thursday.
In 48 games this year with the Barrie Colts of the OHL, the 19-year-old Camara has registered 36 goals and 24 assists to go with his team-high 80 penalty minutes. Camara’s 36 goals are second on the team and 11th in the OHL.
Camara’s 36 goals and 24 assists (60 points) are all career highs.

Overall, Camara has 243 OHL games under his belt, and has 66 goals, 56 assists and 443 penalty minutes to his name. In 31 OHL playoff games, Camara has registered three goals and five assists with 52 penalty minutes.
Kalman: No Time To Mess With Chemistry
The forward also represented Team Canada at the 2013 IIHF World Junior Championship in Russia, recording two assists and a +1 rating through six games.
The Toronto native was Boston’s third round pick, and 81st overall, in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
