DORCHESTER (CBS) – A shooting in Dorchester ended in tragedy on Saturday evening.

Shots fired were reported just after 6:30 p.m., and police arrived on the scene to find two victims at the intersection of Columbia Rd. and Hancock St.

One of the victims, a male in his mid-20′s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim was taken to Boston Medical Center to be treated for gunshot wounds to his chest and arm.

The second victim’s injuries are considered serious.

Police are still investigating the shooting.
