Mansfield Dog Responsible For Two Attacks Euthanized

MANSFIELD (CBS) - The Mansfield dog responsible for two attacks in two months has been put down.

In January, Milo, a pointer-basset hound mix attacked a 6-year-old who needed surgery and 400 stitches for his wounds.

Over the weekend, he attacked his owner's 16-year-old daughter.

She is now at Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence.

Selectmen in Mansfield voted to euthanize Milo last week. His owner was appealing the decision before the second attack.
