Celtics Sign Shavlik Randolph To 10-Day Contract
BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston Celtics have signed forward Shavlik Randolph to a 10-day contract, the team announced on Friday.
The 6-10 Randolph appeared in 28 games for the Foshan Long Lions of the Chinese Basketball Association this season, averaging 32.0 points and 14.6 rebounds.
Randolph is a five-year NBA veteran who spent time in Philadelphia, Miami and Portland posting career averages of 2.4 points and 2.4 rebounds in over 95 games.

Randolph will wear #42 and is expected to be available for tonight's game against Golden State.
Randolph is the third Chinese League player the Celtics have signed to a 10-day contract this season, joining Terrence Williams and D.J. White.

The Celtics also announced on Friday that they have assigned center Fab Melo to their NBA Development League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws.
