Seidenberg On Toucher & Rich: 'Our Whole Mindset Is Being More Aggressive'

The Boston Bruins are 12-2-2 on the season and will be playing host to the 12-6-2 Ottawa Senators Thursday night at the Garden. The B's are coming off a five game road trip where they racked up four straight wins.

Bruins defenseman Dennis Seidenberg joined 98.5 The Sports Hub's Toucher & Rich to discuss the team's success, the penalty kill, Tuukka Rask and Dougie Hamilton.

The Bruins hold a -1 on the penalty kill right now and are number one in the category across the league. Is there an edict this year to be more aggressive offensively when short a man?

"I don't know about offensively our whole mindset is being more aggressive, don't let the other teams get set up and just try and disturb them as much as possible and so far it's work pretty good."

It's no secret that the B's are having a great start to the season, but the players aren't putting much focus on the record.

"We haven't really talked about our record too much. We got a crazy schedule coming up and with that many games coming up you just got to stay in the moment, play game by game because when you look at the schedule you get exhausted just by looking at it."

They also discussed the confidence players have with Tuukka Rask in goal and the job he does between the pipes compared to Tim Thomas. Plus a short discussion on rookie defenseman Dougie Hamilton.
