Felger & Mazz: February 28, 2013
Felger and Massarotti are broadcasting from Hurricane O’Reilly’s today. The guys kicked off the day talking about Tom Brady’s contract extension and what that deal will mean for free agents and other players looking to renegotiate their current deals. Is Brady screwing the market? Would players have different thoughts about the Pats, if they were given the chance to sign with them? Also, Mike Milbury takes on Alexander Ovechkin.
In Hour 2, the guys continued to talk hockey and the Boston Bruins. Since the Tim Thomas trade, the Bruins have been involved in some trade rumors. How big of a move should the Bruins be looking to make? Mike Milbury joined the show to talk about Alexander Overchkin, the Boston Bruins, the NHL Trade Deadline, and the struggles of New York Islanders goaltender Rick DiPietro.
During Hour 3 of Felger and Mazz, the Boston Bruins and the approaching NHL Trade Deadline was still the topic. Is there a move out there that’s worth making? The guys moved on to talk a little Boston Red Sox. Should there be concern with Will Middlebrooks aggravating his wrist injury? What are the expectations from some of the new acquisitions? Finally, a missing sausage has returned.
In the 4th and final hour of Felger and Massarotti, left the last hour to the callers. They took calls on all the topics covered today. Also, the Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
