BOSTON (CBS) – Parts of Boston Common are about to become a “rotating” off leash dog park in the mornings and evenings.
The plan’s approval follows a January 28 public hearing. It wasn’t immediately clear when the dog parks would open.
The five designated locations include three near the Beacon Street side of the park and two in the vicinity of the
Parkman Bandstand by Tremont Street.
The park will open two at a time, and they will change every six months.
The areas will not be fenced in.
Hours of operation will be 5 a.m.-10 a.m. and 4 p.m.-9 p.m.
