BOSTON (CBS) – Police say the body found under I-93 Monday is that of a 43-year-old Roxbury man.

Police are withholding the man’s name until his family is notified.

Shortly before 8:30 a.m. Monday, police were called to Albany and Travelers streets for a report of a body on the ground.

State Police said Monday the death is being investigated as a possible homicide.

Homeless people are known to gather at the underpass, but state police could not say whether the body was a homeless person.

Police have not given a cause of death and say the incident remains under investigation.
