BOSTON (CBS) – Some sad news hit the 98.5 The Sports Hub family on Thursday morning, when Rich Shertenlieb announced his wife, Mary, has been diagnosed with AML – a form of leukemia.

Rich joined the show this morning for the first time since receiving the news of his wife’s diagnosis. He wanted to fill everyone in on how his family came to learn of Mary’s illness and what the plan is for getting her well again. He also wanted to thank the listeners for their messages of support.
