Southbridge Bank Robber Still On The Loose

SOUTHBRIDGE (CBS) - A Southbridge bank was robbed of nearly $2,500 on Saturday morning.

An unidentified man walked into the Southbridge Savings Bank on Main St. at 10:27 a.m. and passed a note to a teller requesting money. The teller gave him $2,490 in cash, and he walked out.

In a release from the Southbridge Police, the suspect is being described as a white male between 25 and 30 years old. The release added that he has a medium build, brown hair, was unshaven, and may have a scar or cut on his lower lip.

He was wearing blue jeans and a hooded zip up sweater.

Investigators are asking that anyone with information about the robbery or the suspect please contact them.
