DURHAM, NH (CBS) – A 4-alarm fire struck Durham, New Hampshire early Saturday morning.
At 3:30 a.m., authorities responded to flames coming from behind the Community Church on Smith Park Lane.
Upon arriving, firefighters discovered a large barn attached to an apartment building was the source of the fire. The barn burned down, but crews were able to save the apartment building.
The barn fire was one of three in the Durham area last night. The other two were a mattress fire at 50 Main St. and a garbage fire at 20 Main St.
All three fires are currently under investigation separately, though authorities have not ruled out the possibility of a connection between them.
