Carl Beane was the public address announcer for the Boston Red Sox from 2003 until his passing in May of 2012. Beane was behind the microphone of every home game at Fenway Park, including Games 1 and 2 of the 2004 and 2007 World Series.
The Red Sox are looking to fill the empty PA announcer’s chair at Fenway Park and are holding open auditions this Saturday.
Gresh & Zo decided to hold their own auditions with the help of the 10 Seconds of Glory feature on the CBS Audio Roadshow app the guys encouraged listeners to record their audition tracks. Guys at the station also threw their hats into the ring for the job.
