The Red Sox struggled through the whole 2012 season after the September collapse in 2011. The Sox and manager Terry Francona went separate ways after that 2011 collapse and a lot went on that people don’t know about.
Francona paired up with Boston writer Dan Shaughnessy for a tell all book.
Gresh & Hardy opened Tuesday’s show reading an excerpt from Shaughnessy’s new book with former Red Sox manager.
The guys went back to after the Sox just won the 2004 World Series and a situation that had Larry Lucchino very upset. Apparently some sweatshirts went missing before the World Series parade, so the guys take some time to sort through the insane details revealed.
