NORTH ATTLEBORO (CBS) – For the second time this month, a Massachusetts resident has died while vacationing in Cancun.

On Monday, 49-year-old Mark Iaconis fell from his second floor hotel room balcony.

The North Attleboro man suffered head, leg and rib injuries and died at the hospital.

State Police are now investigating and talking with the man’s girlfriend who witnessed the fall.

Just last week, two mothers from Mansfield drowned near their Cancun resort.

The life-long friends were walking in shallow water at night when a rogue wave carried them out to sea.
