LEOMINSTER (CBS) – Rescuers freed a woman from her car after she drove through a guardrail and over an embankment in Leominster Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened on Water Street, which is a dead end.
The car flipped several times before coming to a rest at the bottom of the hill.
Rescuers had to cut through the roof of the car to free the woman.
She was taken to UMass Medical Center in Worcester with facial and head injuries.
The accident is under investigation.
Residents on the street say other cars have crashed over the same cliff.
