Swansea Police Investigating 'Widespread' Sexting At Case High School
SWANSEA (CBS) - Swansea police are investigating a case of alleged sexting between teenage students at Case High School.
Investigators have not released any specifics about the incident, other than to say it's "widespread."
"The very nature of what they've done by Massachusetts law is, if you take a (nude) picture of yourself and you're under the age of 18, you have created child pornography," Police Lt. Gregory Ryan told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 Friday.
He said that's the 'letter of the law,' but noted that the 'spirit of the law' will also be factored in.
The Bristol County District Attorney's abuse unit is also looking into the allegations.
