BOSTON (CBS) – Does the music you put on in your car impact how you drive?

A study from the London Metropolitan University says yes.

The study looked at how people drive and what they listen to and as you may imagine, the faster the music the more likely your foot is on the gas pedal.

The closer the beat of the song mimics a heart beat, the safer the song is, the study said.

According to the study, “Come Away With Me,” by Norah Jones is the safest song to drive to.

“The Scientist” by Coldplay also makes the “safe” list as does “Tiny Dancer” by Elton John.

The study says to turn the radio off if “Hey Momma” by the Black Eyed Peas comes on.

Other “dangerous” songs include “Dead On Arrival” by Fall Out Boy and “Paper Planes” by M.I.A.
