Tewksbury Man Found Passed Out Behind Wheel In Police Parking Lot

WINDHAM, N.H. (CBS) - A Tewksbury man made the jobs of some police officers easier when they found him sleeping behind the wheel of his vehicle in the police station parking lot.

A police dispatcher saw the car in the employee lot around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday, parked under a security camera.

Officers say they found Jonathan Sullivan, 31, "passed out" behind the wheel of the running car.

Police woke Sullivan, administered field sobriety tests and charged him with driving while under the influence of alcohol.

According to police, Sullivan would have been released on $500 personal recognizance but he was so drunk, he couldn't contact anyone for help making bail.

Sullivan was taken to the county jail and is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 28.
