WEST BRIDGEWATER (CBS/AP) — A state police sergeant was taken to the hospital after his cruiser struck a utility pole in West Bridgewater Monday morning.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030′s Kim Tunnicliffe reports
A department spokesman says the trooper was on Route 28 when he struck the pole at about 6:50 a.m.
He was taken by ambulance to Brockton Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and sent home.
The cause of the crash is under investigation and no additional information was released.
