PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — A Rhode Island man has been arrested three times in the past week on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.
State Police say they arrested Robert Levesque early Monday morning after observing his white Saab stopped in the middle of a roadway in West Warwick. Police say the 54-year-old West Warwick man was slumped over in the driver’s seat when they approached the vehicle. Police also charged him with refusing to submit to a chemical test and driving on a suspended license.
Authorities say police in West Greenwich arrested Levesque on DUI charges following two separate incidents on Thursday and Friday.
Levesque was arraigned Monday and is being held without bail.
It was unclear Monday if Levesque has an attorney.
