Boston Parks And Recreation Plow Stolen From City Property

BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston Parks and Recreation Department says someone climbed into a plow truck parked on city property Wednesday night and drove away.

Witnesses told police they saw the 2004 Chevrolet with a plow on the front and a sander on the back  driving away from Franklin Park in Dorchester around 10 p.m.

Boston Police are now asking for the public's help in locating the vehicle.

The truck has the Boston Parks and Recreation logo on the side and a blue municipal license plate with the number MB1410 on the back.

Anyone who sees a Boston Parks Department plow truck outside the city should call 911 or the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1(800) 494-TIPS. You can also text the word 'TIP' to CRIME (27463).
