DOVER, N.H. (CBS) -A second arrest has been made in connection with the death of University of New Hampshire student Elizabeth Marriott.
Kathryn McDonough, 19, of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, was arrested Monday and charged with one felony count each of hindering apprehension or prosecution and conspiracy to commit hindering apprehension or prosecution.
The New Hampshire Attorney General Michael A. Delaney, Dover Police Chief Anthony F. Colarusso, Jr. and New Hampshire State Police Colonel, Robert C. Quinn announced the arrest.
McDonough will be arraigned at the Derry District Court on Wednesday.
Seth Mazzaglia, 29, of Dover was arrested on a second degree murder charge in the days after Marriott went missing. Police say the two knew each other, and met while working together at a Target store in Greenland.
Marriott, 19, from Westboro, has been missing since October.
Police say Marriott’s car was found in a parking lot at UNH in Durham, several miles away.
Her body has not been recovered.
