BOSTON (CBS) – A hospital visitor was struck and killed by a tractor trailer at a Brighton hospital.
The accident happened around 1:30 p.m. Monday near a loading dock at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030′s Lana Jones reports
Boston Police tell WBZ, the truck was backing up when it hit the 80-year-old man.
The tractor trailer is owned by Angelica, a healthcare linen service company with a location in Somerville.
A spokesperson from Angelica said a manager was at the scene.
Police have not released the identity of the victim.
No charges or citations have been issued.
