Weymouth High School Evacuated After Bomb Threat

WEYMOUTH (CBS) – Weymouth High School was evacuated Wednesday afternoon after someone called in a bomb threat.

Superintendent Kenneth Salim told WBZ-TV the threat was phoned in just after 2 p.m.

Police and firefighters responded and the school was cleared out.

Students were then sent home because it was close to dismissal time.

All after school activities were cancelled as a precaution.

No other information is available at this point in the investigation.
