FBI Questions Family Of Newtown, CT Shooter In NH

KINGSTON, NH (CBS) - Authorities in New Hampshire are questioning the uncle of Adam Lanza, who is believed to have opened fire in a Newtown, Connecticut elementary school, killing 26 people.

Local police and the FBI were at the East Kingston home of James Champion, who is the brother of Nancy Lanza. Nancy was a teacher at the Sandy Hook Elementary School, and was found dead in her home Friday morning.

Champion had just retired as a full-time Kingston police officer and is currently working part-time. The Kingston Police Chief says Nancy grew up in the town, and lived next door to her brother before moving to Connecticut.

Neighbors of Champion have refused to comment on the shooting.
