BOSTON (CBS) – Boston police are looking for the thieves who stole about a dozen Christmas trees from a landscaping business in West Roxbury this past weekend.

The trees were being sold at AJT Supplies on Washington Street as a fundraiser for Children’s Hospital.

The thieves are believed to have parked at a gas station across the normally busy main road. They apparently managed to hoist each of the trees over a fence.

WBZ NewsRadio 1030’s Carl Stevens reports

The landscaping business estimates they were worth about $1,000.

Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to call Boston police.
