BOSTON (CBS) – The New England Patriots put on quite a show at Gillette Stadium Monday night, beating the Houston Texans 42-14.
But it was nothing compared to the party Gillette hosted on Tuesday night.
Gillette Stadium played host to the New England Patriots Children’s Holiday Party on Tuesday, with more than 250 children in need from the Salvation Army and community centers throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island on hand for a night of food, fun and great memories.
Wes Welker, Matthew Slater and Zoltan Mesko were among the Patriots to attend, and took part in the evening’s highlight: the “Wrap-A-Pat” race.
Working in teams, children made sure they were wrapped from head to toe with wrapping paper, bows and ribbons.
The party, now in it’s 19th year, included a visit from Santa, and of course, presents for those that attended.
