MIDDLEBORO (CBS) – School officials are trying to track down the source of a vicious stomach bug that kept hundreds of kids home from school.
On Friday, the virus made a third of the students and half of the teachers at the Mary K. Goode Elementary School sick.
School officials said it seemed to be a 24 hour bug but highly contagious.
After school staff spent the weekend disinfecting the school, it seems things are returning to normal, school officials said.
