TAUNTON (CBS) -The driver in the crash that left two people dead and four injured has been charged.
Police say Nicholas Costa is charged with two counts of motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation, driving with a suspended license and driving with an open container of alcohol.
Costa was listed in critical condition Sunday afternoon.
Early Sunday morning, Costa was driving a car that crashed into a tree on Bay Street.
Eighteen-year-old Eden Macedo and Jason Neto, 18, were killed.
Police believe Costa was speeding and a bottle of vodka was found in the car.
