Fans still holding tickets to the show 33 years ago, will have those tickets honored on February 26.
The 1979 show was canceled by then-Mayor Buddy Cianci, after 11 concert goers were killed at a show in Ohio, leading up to the Providence concert.
One of those die-hard’s who held onto his ticket, is Dan Scannel, formerly of Malden.
