Trader Joe's Recalls Chicken Product Due To Listeria Concern
BOSTON (CBS) - Trader Joe's has recalled an item found on shelves in Massachusetts stores because it may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
Trader Joe's is recalling the Trader Joe's Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice due to the possibility that the product with the production date of "305 12" is contaminated.
Trader Joe's says they have removed the item from store shelves and to date, no one has reported getting sick from the product.
Customers who have purchased this item are urged to not eat it, and to dispose of it or return it to any Trader Joe's for a full refund.
