A Baby On The Way For Duke And Duchess Will And Kate

LONDON, ENGLAND (CBS) - The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Will and Kate are having a baby.

Clarence House made the announcement Monday.

"The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry and members of both families are delighted with the news," the statement said.

Kate was admitted to King Edward VII Hospital in Central London with "Hyperemesis Gravidarum," a severe form of morning sickness.

Kate is expected to stay in the hospital for "several days" to rest.

WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Ben Parker spoke with CBS's Vicki Barker in London. Barker said the palace has not released Kate's due date but it is believed she is less than 12 weeks pregnant.

"There has been mounting speculation, for weeks," Barker said. "It has been noticed for instance, in her public appearances recently the former Kate Middleton has been avoiding the kinds of food and alcohol pregnant women are told to avoid."
