The Patriots had no problem beating the Jets on Thanksgiving and are now preparing for a trip down to Miami to battle the Dolphins.
Patriots cornerback Kyle Arrington spoke with 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Toucher & Rich about the big win over the Jets, players getting fined for hits and what we could see from Miami.
The Pats scored 35 points in the second quarter against the Jets and went on to win 49-19. What did Arrington think about what he saw out of the Jets in that second quarter?
“It’s just one of those things where it’s just total snakebite.”
Arrington was hit with a $21,000 fine for a helmet-to-helmet shot on Andrew Luck. How does Arrington feel about the rules punishing defensive players for certain hits?
“Totally understandable, I mean you know definitely more concussion about protecting players with these concussions, it’s no joke. It’s tough though as far as the fines go, you want to see a balance of protection and penalty, it’s tough.”
Did he even know that it was a helmet-to-helmet when it happened or was it something he learned about after the game?
The guys moved on to this coming Sunday and the Dolphins. These two divisional teams are meeting for the first time this season, what is Arrington expecting to see in Miami?
Plus the guys play a little game where Fred and Kyle have to name the artist of the song being played.
