EASTON (CBS) – Police are looking for a thief who swiped three diamond rings from a jewelry store in Easton.

Officers say the man walked into the store last Wednesday and told an employee his wife had her ring stolen.

He said that he was looking to replace it.

He asked to view the diamond rings, grabbed three, and took off.

The employee told police that the suspect appeared to be knowledgeable about diamonds.

The rings are valued at $19,000.
