BOSTON (AP) — The cost of a gallon of gas in Massachusetts continues to drop but still isn’t close to the national average.
AAA Southern New England reports Monday that self-serve. Regular is down another two cents to an average of $3.56 per gallon.
Even though that price is a dime lower than a month ago, it is still 14 cents higher than the national average and a quarter higher than it was at the same time last year.
AAA found self-serve, regular selling as low as $3.45 per gallon and as high as $3.85.
