BEDFORD (CBS) – Police responded to a robbery in progress in Bedford, only to find that both homeowners had been seriously injured.

The residence at 7 Proclamation Court in Bedford was robbed Sunday evening while both homeowners and their child were inside.

Both victims were transported to a hospital in Manchester for treatment. Their child was no harmed in the robbery.

Investigators have not yet conducted interviews to get a better sense of what happened.
