YARMOUTHPORT (CBS) – An Ashland woman accused of conning her way into at least two Cape Cod homes to steal prescription drugs is under arrest.

Yarmouth police showed up Friday morning and arrested Daria Pearlman, 32, after she asked an elderly resident on Collingwood Drive to use his bathroom.

Officers say it was the second time in two days Pearlman had attempted to pull the same ruse, and that both times she intended to steal prescription drugs.

Pearlman faces felony charges for breaking and entering and theft from a building.

Police want to remind people not to let strangers into your home for any reason.
