Happy Thanksgiving...

That was a Thanksgiving treat!  The high in Boston was 50 for the first time in 8 days, but highs actually made the mid 50s in most communities.  With the light wind and ample sunshine, today was almost perfect!  We should see nearly the same events unfold tomorrow so once again expect sun, light wind and mild temps in the 50s.

Changes roll in for the weekend, a coldfront will slice through New England very early Saturday morning...I only expect one or two rain showers to form along it lasting just a few minutes.  Once they pass temps will be diving...gusty NW winds will pick up and the numbers will start in the 40s and end up in the 30s by the end of the day.  Those NW winds will stay strong on Sunday too and as the air flows up and over the elevated areas, clouds will form and will release snow showers for the mountains...a few flurries may make it to the Worcester Hills.

Temp will stay below normal early next week and a storm will be forming to our SW, in the Tennessee Valley.  This storm will then swing north and east but the track is still in question.  The most likely scenario is that the storm cuts right through New England with mixed Wintry precipitation...snow for the mountains, some ice for the interior and rain for the Coast.  There is also a small chance that the storm slides off to our south and just grazes New England.  Obviously, there is a lot to iron out between now and next Tuesday/Wednesday.

I hope all of you are having a wonderful Thanksgiving and Happy Holidays!
