What a Stretch!

The dry stretch that started last week, continued into the weekend, and still prevails, is not done just yet!

Travelling will be on the agenda for many families today, tomorrow, and Thanksgiving Day! I have nothing but GOOD news coming your way.

Today will become mostly cloudy with upper trough/energy slwoly gliding across New England. We will still be precipitation-free though. Highs will be close to 50F.

Clouds will dominate on Wednesday, Thanksgiving Eve, but the dry stretch will not be broken.  The northeast winds will be breezier with highs touching upon 50F.

Thanksgiving Day by daypart:  Before sunrise: Putting the turkey in the oven...32-42F with partly cloudy skies --- Morning football games: temps around 40-45F with bright skies --- Turkey Feast: temps will be in the lower to middle 50s with more sunshine --- Late Afternoon Nap:  Quiet and dry with temps near 50F.

Shopping on 'Black' Friday will be accompanied by a beauty of a late-November day.  The sun will be shining as high temps climb into the upper 50s.

This weekend will provide us with our next chance of showers after this extensive dry stretch.  The chance of showers will be on Saturday as a cold front sweeps the warm air out and allows the cold air to fill-in. Highs on Saturday will be near 50F before higs drop into the 40s on Sunday.  Sunday is looking partly sunny.

Getting excited for Family, friends, good food, and good times---

~Melissa :)
