The weekend begins momentarily and what you see is what you get from the weather department. High pressure is dominating the East Coast and that means lots of sunshine and chilly temps in the upper 40s. At night, after the sun sets, temps nosedive for the 20s. With high pressure essentially overhead, the wind will be rather light and not much of a factor.
The quiet weather pattern will hold for next week too. A large ocean storm will form off the Carolinas middle of the week but will stay out over the ocean. We’ll see a little breeze and intervals of clouds but no big storminess for the entire Northeast part of the US…great for holiday travel as dry weather will prevail through at least Friday.
I hope everybody has a great weekend…and if you are heading out of State for the holidays already, have fun and be safe!
