BOSTON (CBS) – A Boston University student in his early twenties was struck and killed by a hit and run driver Monday night.
The man was hit at the intersection of Brighton Ave. and Harvard Ave at about 6:15pm. He was rushed to the hospital but did not survive.
Witnesses say the man was riding a bicycle and may have been hit by an MBTA bus. A driver has been taken out of service while police investigate. The driver is a 58-year-old man who has six years of service with the MBTA.
Police are not releasing the identity of the victim.
