BOSTON (CBS) – NStar says it is sending an additional 40 crews to New York after a request from Long Island Power Authority to assist in power restoration.
The crews left from Massachusetts Saturday morning and are expected to spend at least two weeks helping residents affected by Hurricane Sandy.
More than 100,000 customers in New York are still without electricity nearly two weeks after the storm.
