BOSTON (CBS) – It’s still not clear when Mayor Tom Menino will return to City Hall.
He was admitted to Brigham and Women’s Hospital on October 26 after an anniversary trip to Italy with his wife.
He told the Boston Globe he was “a pretty sick guy” who lost all of his energy and was “completely fatigued.”
Menino is being treated for a viral infection and compression fracture in his back.
He says he’s getting better, but there is still no timetable for his discharge, according to the mayor’s spokeswoman Dot Joyce.
Menino, 69, is the longerst-serving mayor in Boston’s history.
He’s currently in his fifth term.
