With Scott Zolak traveling back from London, Andy Gresh & Mike Flynn opened Monday’s show breaking down the Patriots’ blowout of the Rams overseas. Did the Pats do anything wrong across the pond? The guys also discuss the impacts of Hurricane Sandy.
“That first half was as dominant a performance as we have maybe seen in the Brady-Belichick era, and that’s not overstating it,” Gresh said. “Oh my God. It was a smokeshow.”
Gresh and Flynn then discussed how sustainable such a performance is for the Pats. Gresh said that if opponents can’t match up with Rob Gronkowski, that type of performance will always remain a possibility.
“When Gronk is right and the team doesn’t have an answer, you saw what can happen,” Gresh said. “They can be that efficient where they score on six consecutive drives.”
