BOSTON (AP) — Another man has come forward to allege he was sexually abused by a now-dead Boston Red Sox clubhouse manager.

An attorney for former Kansas City clubhouse attendant Gerald Armstrong said Tuesday that Donald Fitzpatrick repeatedly molested his client in the late 1960s, starting when he was 12 years old.

The Associated Press does not normally release the names of alleged abuse victims, but the 57-year-old Armstrong has allowed his name to be published.

Attorney Mitchell Garabedian is seeking a multimillion-dollar settlement from the Red Sox for his 20 clients who say Fitzpatrick abused them.

The alleged abuse occurred under previous ownership and the statute of limitations for criminal prosecution has expired in most cases.

A team lawyer has called the allegations “abhorrent” and said the club is weighing the claims.

Fitzpatrick died in 2005 at age 76.
