BROCKTON (CBS) – A charity event in Brockton raised money to fight hunger and featured some of the area’s best amateur singers.

The Charity Guild held its annual Harvest Gala on Thursday, and Bethany Conway won the event’s Voices of Champions contest.

Conway is a resident of Cumberland, RI, and is a student at Stonehill College.

The event featured dinner and auctions, all to raise money in the Charity Guild’s fight against hunger.
