The Sun's Brief Appearance

Clouds are eroding this morning from northwest to southeast.  Skies will become mostly sunny this afternoon. The cooler air mass working in from the northwest will keep temperatures in the upper 60s to near 70F.

Tonight will begin with mostly clear skies before the rebounding warm front pushes more clouds our way.

Friday will begin with mostly cloudy skies along with scattered rain developing from southwest to northeast throughout the morning hours, mainly after 8am. Rainfall amounts appear to be between .25-.50".

This weekend is looking like a great time to catch up on your favorite TV shows, head to the latest movie that you've been wanting to see, or even play catch up on your housework.  Latest models show a 500mb low meandering near the Great Lakes which puts us under positive vorticity advection.  The shortwaves spiraling around the upper level low make it tough to provide exact timing. However, the latest solutions point towards morning showers on Saturday followed by mostly cloudy skies and patchy drizzle.  Sunday will also be mostly cloudy with a chacne of showers.  Highs will be in the lower 60s for Saturday and into the middle and upper 60s for Sunday.

A chance of showers will linger into Monday morning before the sunshine makes a major comeback.
