LAWRENCE (AP) — U.S. marshals say they found a New Hampshire man wanted on a parole violation living with a former police officer in Massachusetts.
The marshals’ Fugitive Task Force says 29-year-old Luis Figueroa was arrested Monday in the Lawrence home owned and occupied by the former officer.
They say Figueroa was wanted on an outstanding warrant for parole violations stemming from a conviction for drug sales.
Another warrant alleges he endangered the welfare of a child and disobeyed a police officer.
Figueroa was included in a “Fugitive of the Week” news segment on June 21 on local stations and in a newspaper.
Police said the former officer, Rafael Beamud, will be summoned on charges associated with harboring a fugitive.
It wasn’t immediately known if Figueroa and Beamud had lawyers.
