Patriots Blog: Keeping Up With The Jones'

BOSTON (CBS) - While Week 1 of the NFL season may have been about the McCourty brothers, this weekend is huge for the Jones family.

When the Pats and the Ravens play on Sunday, Pats rookie defensive end Chandler Jones can look over on the Ravens sideline and say hello to his older brother, Arthur.  Arthur is in his third year as a defensive lineman for Baltimore, also being drafted out of Syracuse. Unlike his brother though, Arthur wasn't taken until the fifth round of the 2010 draft.

But the Jones connection doesn't stop there.  Both brothers will have their eyes focused on their other brother on Saturday night, with  Jon "Bones" Jones -- current UFC light heavyweight champion -- defending his crown against Vitor Belfort.

A crazy weekend for sure, but Chandler says as for as communication goes, it will be limited all around.

"Maybe after the game," he said. "We usually talk every day, but I'm just trying to get ready for this game."

Arthur and Chandler were roommates in college briefly during their time at the Cuse, and Chandler is sure they can all catch up another time. Right now, the focus for the Pats rookie is getting that much-needed "W."

"Main thing is just focusing on this game," he said. "Trying to get this game plan down and coming up with a win."
